The American fire service is
steeped in tradition more than an other organization or group in the
United States. Our tradition is a source of great pride but, it can
also be a detriment.
Each year many new, innovative
products are released to make our jobs easier, safer, and more
efficient. This is where your strict tradition attitude sometime gets
in the way. We are not always will to accept change or change the way
we do things. I remember a less than enthusiastic response to Thermal
Imaging when it was first introduced to the fire service. Today it's
hard to imagine doing the job without it.
In this section we will
introduce you to the latest, most innovative products on the market.
These products take full advantage of the technology explosion
experienced in the last few years as well as adapting older, proven
technologies to the fire service.
