West Ridge Vehicle Accident

April 26 - During the night time hours, units from West Ridge Fire Department and Millcreek Paramedic Service responded to the 5500 block of West 38th Street for a reported vehicle accident.  MP-14 (Millcreek Paramedics) arrived on location and found 1 vehicle off the road, into a tree with heavy damage.  The driver, the only person in the car, managed to free themselves from the vehicle.  Engine 16 (West Ridge) arrived on location, setup scene lighting, and did a search of the area for other possible victims.  The search turned up negative.  Engine 16 remained on location for about 30 minutes.  The patient was transported to a local hospital for treatment.  Chief 463 (West Ridge) had scene command and Millcreek Township Police are investigating the vehicle accident.
