The Mack Super Pumper System
was designed to replace 10 conventional pumpers
The Pump:
DeLaval 6-stage centrifugal pump
Rtaed at 10,000 GPM
8,800 GPM. at 350 psi
4,400 GPM. at 700 psi
The Power Plant:
Napier-Deltic 18-cylinder engine
2,400 horsepower

architects
This massive unit can draw it’s water supply from eight hydrants or using
it's over-sized rear suction hose which has to be winched a river
or harbor.
A master stream mounted aboard a companion hose wagon, flows upward of 10,000
GPM. and is fed by four 2.5 inch lines.
The hose wagon carries a
mile of big 4.5 inch supply line.
