Guide to Extreme Fire Equipment

Oshkosh Tactical Fire Fighting Truck (TFFT)

The outstanding new Tactical Fire Fighting Truck (TFFT) is engineered like no other vehicle on the planet – combining the superior mobility of the Oshkosh® HEMTT M977 with the advanced firefighting capabilities of industry-leading Pierce® fire apparatus. The result is a multi-functional vehicle that’s ready to deploy whenever needed for aircraft rescue, fuel storage protection, structural firefighting, wildland firefighting, and rescue extrication in almost any terrain.

The TFFT is a joint project between Oshkosh Truck and its subsidiary, Pierce Manufacturing. While Oshkosh Truck is the top name in severe-duty military vehicles, Pierce is the leader in custom fire trucks in North America. Pierce designs, engineers and produces an extensive line of technically advanced fire suppression vehicles that are in use around the world.
